What You’ll Do

It’s an exciting time at McMaster-Carr as we grow into our new regional headquarters in Fort Worth —a modern, automated distribution facility that will help support Texas customers with the excellent service and innovative solutions that define our company.

 

We are looking for curious, self-starters to support the identification, onboarding, and ongoing support of a diverse customer base. In this role, you will take ownership of the sales development for a region of Texas, identifying potential customers and supporting initial outreach efforts.

 

Make an impact and grow your professional skillset through experiences like:

 

  • Reading and evaluating industry information from different news sources, market reports, and industry publications to understand a diverse customer base spanning many industries.
  • Assessing leads generated from a range of internal and external resources to help identify new customers.
  • Leveraging insights from research on industrial activity to make recommendations to business leaders about where to allocate resources and invest in building relationships.
  • Introducing new customers to McMaster-Carr by sharing information about our products and services via email, phone, or in-person visits.
  • Building long-lasting relationships by anticipating needs and responding to each customer's unique preferences.

Cash Compensation

Total cash compensation ranges from $106,500 - $122,000 annually, which includes annual cash profit sharing based on company profitability.

  • Detail-Oriented Writing: Write detailed summaries of each region prospected and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of findings and customer interactions.
  • Collaboration: Share insights and collaborate to achieve successful outcomes.
