Job Location: Fully remote with up to 30% travel & reside in the United States
Compensation: $87,000 - $107,000 plus bonus

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our continued growth brings about an immediate need for an IT Training and Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Meridian Partners’ client base. This role involves assessing training needs, creating instructional materials, and facilitating engaging training sessions. The specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure that training programs are aligned with organizational goals and technological advancements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client training needs
- Consult with internal team as well as client representatives to determine specific training needs
- Design and develop training programs and materials, including e-learning modules, manuals, recordings, guides, and other job aids
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions at all levels in both in person classroom settings as well as a virtual setting
- Utilize various training methodologies and technologies to enhance the learning experience
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback surveys, and performance metrics
- Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and assessment results
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote training initiatives and updates
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in IT training
- Provide recommendations for new tools and resources to support training initiatives
- Act as a subject matter advisor to clients
- Work collaboratively with members of the management and executive teams
- Actively represent our culture by leading and participating in efforts around continuous learning, personal and professional development, and team building
WHAT YOU WILL BRING FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, education, or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT training and development or a similar role
- Experience in training complex ERP systems, such as SAP or Workday, preferred
- Excellent instructional design and content development skills
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms and training software
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office with the ability to create client-facing materials
- Strong sense of autonomy, urgency, and accountability to delight clients
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Public Sector (K-12, state, local, federal government) industry experience preferred
- Certification in IT training or related field highly desirable
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
