Software Engineer II
Role: SE II - Fullstack

As a SE II - Fullstack in our Engineering department, you’ll have the chance to:
Design and develop end to end software components and systems from ground up and have ownership of them. You will have the opportunity to utilize a variety of latest Web application frameworks, Big Data technologies, Angular/React UI frameworks. You will be part of agile teams that utilizes CI and CD pipelines to speed up the products’ time to market. You will have an opportunity to work on different tech stacks comprising Java, Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, Qubole and many others to satiate your tech buds!
Who are your stakeholders?
Key stakeholders include the Product Leads of various products, Leads of various teams across Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Trading departments.
What you’ll bring
•2-4 years experience developing with an Object Oriented Language (Java, C++).
• Excellent grasp of at least one language.
• Excellent understanding of algorithm & data structures.
• Good knowledge of the Linux environment.
• Good understanding of UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS.
• Good understanding of multi-tier web applications, experience working on all layers of the stack is a plus.
• Exposure to HLD, LLD
• Good understanding of Distributed systems is a plus.
• Good understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure is a plus
• Hands on product development experience using Java or Kotlin and good understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

What impact will you create?
You will identify & evangelize frameworks and methodologies for building highly available, high-performance systems. You ensure that design/architecture documents incorporate these practices and introduce new tools and methodologies when appropriate to simplify or increase efficiency of development. You’ll drive evaluation of new tools via POCs and continuously evaluate how the team operates in different areas of software engineering. You will Initiate changes necessary to move the team a step higher in adopting best practices and critique the software product design and architecture and contribute to its evolution from the inception.
