What you’ll do

You will be joining our Brisbane team as the Key Account Manager for the region, responsible for the retention and growth of our largest accounts. You will be tasked with account growth through strengthening strategic partnerships and building strong client relationships, underpinned by successful campaigns and best in class service. This is a great opportunity to join the close knit team within our Brisbane market.
Client Engagement
- Actively listen to stakeholders and clients to understand their needs, and identify opportunities and solutions that cater to those needs.
- Develop client specific strategy alongside stakeholders from Solutions, Trading, DnA and Product teams. Assume accountability for executing/delivering client strategy.
- Comprehensive understanding of MiQ’s product suite, in order to protect and grow MiQ’s accounts via upsell/cross sell
- Work closely with the cross functional team to tailor bespoke brief responses & pitches that unlock revenue growth opportunities within key accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with all accounts including scheduling and hosting face-to-face meetings, entertainment & business reviews.
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends and the impact of these on MiQ and our clients.
Operational Excellence
- Consistently achieving regional and personal sales targets, delivering business updates from your patch on a regular basis.
- Deliver high quality, timely OKRs that have meaningful impact on business growth
- Ensure SLAs are met and campaign operations are seamless
- Resolve client issues quickly and without fallout. Flex to the needs of each client without compromising MiQ in the process and resolve any issues swiftly and without fallout.
- Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Solutions & Analysis to drive performance for respective accounts.
Insight delivery
- Proactively connect multiple data points to deliver insight driven solutions for clients.
- Recognise patterns and points of differentiation to deliver robust and actionable insights.
- Offer constructive feedback and present proactive recommendations throughout campaigns.
Innovation & Influencing
- View problems in new ways, consistently suggest novel approaches for all types of challenges.
- Proactively seek to pilot, validate, and improve new ideas or tests.
- Deliver ideas and concepts to external stakeholders with authority, to persuade and influence decisions.
- Acts as a ”trusted advisor” to internal and external stakeholders; sought out as a sounding board.
- Honestly and proactively challenges internal/external stakeholders’ ideas respectfully.
- Continually works to expand networks by building relationships internally and across the industry.
What you’ll bring
- ~5+ years of industry experience at an advertising/media agency (or similar)
- Client facing experience in programmatic advertising (Client Services/ Sales Support/Ad-Ops background)
- Experience creating and delivering growth strategies with proven results
- High attention to detail
