IT Support Technician (Colombia - Bogotá)

We are seeking a Level 1 / Level 2 IT Support Engineer to support the onboarding of a newly acquired LATAM business into MiQ systems and provide day-to-day technical support to employees in the region.
The role will work closely with the IT Manager and wider IT Team to ensure a smooth integration of systems, devices, and users while delivering high-quality IT support across the LATAM region
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide onsite and remote 1st and 2nd line IT support for LATAM region
- Support the onboarding of acquired LATAM employees into existing MiQ systems
- Supporting enrollment of devices into MDM
- Providing systems access and support
- Working with acquired company to support data transitions
- Shipping and receiving of technical hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues reported by end users
- Manage support tickets via Jira Ticketing System
- Support AV and meetings for internal and client events
- Onboarding and offboarding of users (General)
- Assisting with software deployment, security updates and patches
- Managing MiQ assets via our Asset Management Solution
- Administering devices via our MDM solution
- Training and Development
- Assist users in developing their IT knowledge
- Assist users in the transition of data and acclimation into MiQ systems
- Asset Procurement
- Work with IT Manager to source hardware vendors in LATAM regions
- Become key contact for vendors and procurement in LATAM
- Shipping & Receiving of hardware and tech
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years experience in technical support role
- Proficient working with MDM (Jumpcloud, JAMF) and Anti-virus solutions
- Proficient working with SaaS apps (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Proficient working with both Windows and MacOS
- Ability to work with regional teams (LATAM)
- Knowledge of workplace communication technologies
