About the Job

We are on the hunt for a data-driven Associate Manager, Content who will be responsible for driving the overall content strategy, enabling MoneyHero Group to create engaging and empowering financial content to help people make informed decisions.

This role will require you to be an expert in all things content-related and excel at in-channel optimization, brand consistency, analytics, and meaningful measurement.

The Associate Manager, Content will:

  • Lead the organic growth strategy with clear accountability for business outcomes, including unpaid traffic, product page visits, application click-outs, and assisted revenue contribution. 
  • Work closely with the SEO Specialist to develop and execute MoneyHero Hong Kong’s SEO roadmap, covering technical SEO, content SEO, keyword strategy, internal linking, site architecture, schema, content refresh and competitor gap analysis. 
  • Build a future-ready strategy for AIO / AI Overviews and GEO / Generative Engine Optimization, ensuring MoneyHero content is structured to be discoverable, quotable and trusted by AI-powered search and answer engines. 
  • Identify, evaluate and implement content opportunities, partnerships and initiatives to meet strategic business objectives
  • Drive MoneyHero Hong Kong’s social media and community growth strategy across relevant platforms, including Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and emerging social discovery channels.
  • Develop a social content strategy that builds MoneyHero’s authority, relatability and trust in personal finance while supporting business objectives across product verticals.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and monitor the competitive landscape to position the company as the market leader. Conduct competitor and keyword gap analysis to find opportunities to widen organic demand capture for key verticals
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice across all channels including online, social media, email and video. Balance between search engine optimisation and trends to ensure that all content adds value to the consumer
  • Build editorial, SEO and social best practices, including content briefs, keyword mapping, search intent mapping, social hooks, short-form video scripts, community engagement guidelines, E-E-A-T standards, AI search readiness, content QA, compliance review and performance reporting. 
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers in creating creative content angles and briefs for advertorials

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field
  • 5+ years of experience delivering multichannel content creation for different target demographics, experienced in driving traffic to the MoneyHero website via different tactics.
  • Outstanding command of the English and Cantonese language
  • Proven experience developing content or social strategies that drive measurable traffic, leads, conversions, community growth or commercial outcomes. 
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, search intent, content architecture, internal linking, technical SEO basics, schema, content refresh and competitor analysis. 
  • Knowledge of AIO, GEO, AEO, AI search visibility, structured content and answer-led content strategy. 
  • Experience growing social media channels or online communities with measurable follower, engagement or referral traffic impact.

  • The ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced start-up environment, embrace changes, process new information on the go, and translate that into customer-friendly language

  • Keen interest in the world of personal finance

Good to have:

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, comparison platforms, insurance, lending, credit cards, investment platforms or affiliate marketing. 
  • Experience working with creators, KOLs, community partners or financial influencers.
  • Experience working with Product and Growth teams to improve content-to-conversion journeys.
  • Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, social scheduling tools, social listening tools or AI-assisted content workflows.
  • Experience managing advertorials, partner content or commercially sponsored content.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

For unsuccessful candidates, we will retain the personal data provided during the application process for a period of two (2) years. This is to maintain accurate recruitment records, prevent duplicate applications, and to allow us to consider you for future opportunities that may match your profile. After this period, your data will be securely deleted from our systems. Should you wish to request the deletion of your data before the end of this retention period, you may contact us at legal-team@moneyherogroup.com.

What if you do not supply your personal data?
