A Day in the Life:

 

The Promotions Analyst Manager is responsible for leading the accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and governance of promotional spending and trade investment activity. This role oversees the accurate and timely recording of trade promotional allowances, including monthly and quarterly close processes, account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, fluctuation analysis, and financial reporting.

The manager serves as a key business partner to Promotional Claims, Sales, Revenue Growth Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure promotional investments are accurately reflected in financial results and supported by meaningful analysis. The role provides leadership in identifying trends, evaluating financial performance, and delivering actionable insights that support informed business decisions.

 

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Promotions Manager leads the Trade Promotions Analyst and Accounting Business Intelligence teams, driving operational excellence, employee development, and continuous process improvement. The role is accountable for maintaining strong internal controls, enhancing financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and company standards.
  • The position is ultimately responsible for the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of promotional spend accounting and related reporting.
  • The manager fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, develops team capabilities, promotes consistent review and analytical practices, and ensures financial information is clear, reliable, and valuable to business partners and senior leadership.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in accounting field at a supervisor level 
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • SAP experience required
  • Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Power BI skill preferred
  • Must be able to recognize and meet deadlines, prioritize and follow up accordingly
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervisor
  • Must be able to research, problem solve and identify solutions

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated annual salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$105,000 - $140,000 USD
