A Day in the Life:

As a Business Development Sales Analyst, you'll play a vital role in driving growth by transforming data into actionable business insights. Working closely with Business Development Managers, Sales leaders, and cross-functional partners, you'll analyze sales performance, market trends, customer activity, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and support strategic decision-making. Your day may involve building dashboards, developing performance scorecards, tracking new product launches and promotional activities, preparing executive-level presentations, and delivering insights that help optimize sales execution across the region. 

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Deliver actionable business insights through the analysis and interpretation of internal sales data, syndicated market data, customer information, and industry trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging market trends, and business risks while providing recommendations that support sales performance, profitability, and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers, Sales Leadership, and Commercial teams to provide data-driven analysis that supports business planning and decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, scorecards, and performance tracking systems for leadership and field sales teams.
  • Produce recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting, including sales performance, distribution, pricing, promotional activity, incentive tracking, and customer reporting.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new product launches, promotional programs, and strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Business Development, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, and Commercial teams to support business priorities.
  • Generate customer and retail intelligence by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting field feedback, marketplace observations, survey data, and competitive insights.
  • Support the development of sales tools, reporting capabilities, and analytical resources that enable more effective decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Train and support sales and business development teams on reporting platforms, analytical tools, and data resources to maximize adoption and utilization.
  • Monitor key business unit initiatives, ensuring progress against objectives while communicating results, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of compelling sales presentations, business reviews, and customer-facing materials by leveraging fact-based analysis and market intelligence.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, sales operations, business development, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an analyst, reporting, or business intelligence role.
  • Experience supporting sales teams through data analysis, performance reporting, and business insights preferred.
  • Experience utilizing syndicated data, retail analytics, or sales reporting tools is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of sales reporting platforms such as Nielsen, Circana/IRI, VIP, Salient, Margin Minder, or similar business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated annual salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$70,304 - $78,740 USD
