Python Developer - Leading Investment Bank

We are seeking a Python Developer to join a highly-regarded financial institution’s Regulatory Reporting Engineering team. You will be part of a global team that designs and delivers technology solutions for regulatory reporting, playing a key role in developing high-quality software and contributing to the overall technical direction of the team. This senior role offers the opportunity to provide leadership in software design and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python, working on the bank’s proprietary platform.
• Improve automated testing processes and collaborate in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Work closely with business analysts and engineers in a Scrum team to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and ensure high software quality standards.

Skills Required:

• Solid Python development experience (experience with Quartz or similar platforms is a plus).
• Proficiency in relational database systems (RDBMS) and data modeling.
• Interest in test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing.
• Ability to work in an agile environment, collaborating across distributed global teams.
