Our client in Toronto is currently seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their Business Management group. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure. 

Your Main Responsibilities will Include: 

  • Monitoring the financial management, reporting, and analytics for the Client, Banking, Data & Digital Technology Portfolio. 
  • Involvement in Fiscal year planning processes with support to development of financial demands in alignment with portfolio strategy. 
  • Presentation and analysis of all monthly and standard reporting to stakeholders. 
  • Report progress in regular meetings and through formal reporting to all groups. 
  • Establish streamlined program governance & control for Client, Banking, Data & Digital Technology Portfolio, including strategic content. 
  • Work with leads to facilitate the provision of timely and insightful performance data that supports strategy execution. 
  • Resource tracking and headcount management inclusive of onboarding and off boarding. 
  • Work internally with the team to build a collaborative culture that drives continuous improvement and technology innovation, constructively challenging outdated and inefficient practices.

What you’ll need:

  • University degree or equivalent. 
  • Very strong analytical and presentation skills, with excellent grasp of PowerPoint / excel / word and ability to distill large quantities of information into key themes / issues. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capacity to work with senior teams and ability to interact at all levels of the organization. 
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders and willingness to go the ‘extra-mile’. 
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritize multiple demands.
  • Experiences in budget management, forecasting and financial models is a plus.
  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or MBA preferred but not required.
