Position Summary
The Vice President, Women’s Health Marketing is responsible for leading and executing global and regional marketing strategies to accelerate growth and expand market adoption of Natera’s Women’s Health portfolio. This leader will integrate global brand strategy with tailored regional execution, ensuring consistent messaging, exceptional customer experience, and strong market development. With a specific emphasis on regional marketing (20%+ focus), this role ensures that strategies are locally relevant, competitive, and positioned for sustained growth.
This position requires deep expertise in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing, coupled with proven success driving commercial strategies, product launches, and cross-functional alignment across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement global and regional marketing and commercialization strategies for Women’s Health, including new product launches, regional market development, sales enablement, and competitive positioning.
- Lead a regionalized approach, ensuring tailored strategies that address unique market dynamics, healthcare provider needs, and patient access challenges.
- Ensure worldwide commercial readiness while prioritizing regional execution, customer satisfaction, and user experience.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and Operations to achieve business objectives.
Regional Marketing & Growth (20% emphasis)
- Build and execute region-specific marketing strategies for Women’s Health products, ensuring alignment with global brand direction while adapting to local healthcare ecosystems.
- Partner with regional commercial leaders to understand market dynamics, reimbursement environments, and provider needs.
- Lead regional market access, physician engagement, and patient advocacy initiatives to expand awareness and adoption.
- Establish feedback loops from regional markets to inform global strategy, product development, and lifecycle management.
Commercial Execution & Brand Development
- Create compelling messaging, campaigns, and value propositions to elevate brand awareness and adoption.
- Oversee advertising, digital marketing, PR, event marketing, and regional campaigns to strengthen market presence.
- Ensure consistency in branding while adapting marketing approaches for regional needs.
- Deliver training content and commercial enablement resources for internal and external stakeholders.
Business Leadership
- Own P&L responsibility for Women’s Health marketing and deliver against growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Partner with forecasting and strategy teams to develop long-range commercial plans and assess partnerships.
- Lead competitive intelligence and market research to inform product positioning and strategy.
- Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across global and regional functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or MD) strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
- Proven success leading regional and global marketing strategies in women’s health, diagnostics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial marketing, user experience, product launch, and lifecycle management.
- Experience developing regionalized strategies, engaging with healthcare providers, and driving adoption across diverse markets.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and influence across matrixed, cross-functional, and pan-regional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to executive, clinical, and commercial audiences.
- Track record of managing P&L, driving growth, and delivering measurable business impact.
- Resilient, agile, and motivated leader with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver results in a fast-evolving market.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Duties are typically performed in an office setting.
- This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may occasionally require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
- Ability to travel 10-20% is required
