Global Public Relations Director

About the role

NetDocuments is hiring a Global Public Relations Director! It’s an exciting time to join NetDocuments as we continue to advance the future of intelligent document and knowledge management. We’re looking for a Global Public Relations Director to help elevate our voice in the market, strengthen our position as an industry leader, and drive meaningful conversations that educate, guide, and support both our customers and the legal industry at large.

This is a senior, high-visibility role for someone who sees PR as more than media relations. We’re looking for a strategic storyteller and connector – someone who understands how the executive voice, analyst influence, customer advocacy, product momentum, and campaign strategy all work together to shape market perception overtime.

You will lead the proactive narrative for NetDocuments, across the legal-tech market, build a credible analyst relations program, amplify executive thought leadership, and orchestrate an integrated global public relations strategy across the US, EMEA, and APAC.

You’ll manage both internal resources and external agency partners while collaborating closely across Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Subject Matter Experts, and the Executive Team to ensure we are telling one clear, compelling story everywhere our brand shows up.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and own a proactive global public relations calendar, including earned media, executive thought leadership, analyst relations, and customer storytelling
  • Lead and manage PR agency and agency strategy; define the right go-forward agency model and manage scope, performance, and budget.
  • Strengthen executive thought leadership: identify opportunities, provide strategic guidance, and support NetDocuments leaders in sharing their expertise with customers, media, analysts, and the broader legal community.
  • Establish and run a strong analyst relations program across the major legal-tech and enterprise software analyst firms in close partnership with our deep product and market experts.
  • • Partner across our broader partner ecosystem, including our alliances team, to identify and execute joint public relations opportunities with strategic partners such as Microsoft, AWS, and others.
  • Build out regional PR strategy across EMEA and APAC; identify where to go deeper with regional agencies or in-region resources.
  • Work closely with our industry experts to stay up-to-date on product, buyer needs, and the competitive landscape and translate that into everything from educational materials to earned media.
  • Collaborate across marketing and communications and other functions to ensure public relations initiatives align with broader business objectivescampaigns and contribute to a cohesive, integrated narrative across all external messaging.
  • Bring curiosity, creativity, and strong editorial instincts to identifying the stories worth telling — and the moments worth creating.
  • Bring a love for hands-on work and managing people. This will be a working manager role.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B public relations experience, with significant time in enterprise SaaS; legal-tech experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a proactive PR program at global level.
  • Strong relationships with tier-one Global tech and enterprise media; legal tech media experience is a plus.
  • Proven analyst relations experience with firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and specialist analysts such as product type and market segments (ex. legal-tech).
  • Experience managing PR agencies and rationalizing agency footprints.
  • Experience building brands via communications strategies, including executive communications.
  • Strategic-and-executional operator — sets the strategy and writes the pitch.

Location & travel

US East Coast preferred (time-zone overlap with media and PR agencies). Travel expected (25-50%), including international.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
