This role will partner closely with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to uncover user needs, validate design hypotheses, and improve digital experiences across our suite of internal and customer-facing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end research studies with minimal oversight, including discovery sessions, usability tests, in-depth interviews, field studies, diary studies, and surveys.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to ensure research is tightly integrated into design and development workflows.
- Develop research plans aligned with project goals and timelines, adhering strictly to internal guidelines and compliance standards.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and research artifacts in line with team protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Advocate for the voice of the user across all stages of product development.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to research operations initiatives and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience conducting UX research, preferably within large enterprise or regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, financial services).
- Proven ability to independently plan and execute a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to confidently present to and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with UX designers, developers, and product managers.
- Familiarity with digital health, clinical workflows, or pharmaceutical industry contexts is a strong plus.
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Soft Skills:
- A strategic mindset and a deep sense of curiosity.
- Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to create clarity for teams through research.
- A passion for solving real-world problems that impact healthcare professionals and patients.
- A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
