We are looking for a Project Manager (Transformation Delivery) - (Onsite).

Experience: 8+ years
Job Type: Contract (12 Months)
Work location: Kuala Lumpur

Mode of work: Onsite (Work from Office)

Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead strategic transformation and technology implementation initiatives across the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, risk, change, and closure
• Define scope, milestones, budget, dependencies, and benefits
• Drive stakeholder communication and Steering Committee reporting
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards and BNM RMiT guidelines

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least 3 full lifecycle system implementations.
• Proven experience delivering transformation projects involving:
• Core Insurance Systems (AS400)
• Digital platforms, POS systems, portals, and corporate websites
• Data Lake, Analytics, or Big Data initiatives
• Experience managing a minimum of 5 internal team members, excluding vendors.
• Prior exposure to GI / Life Insurance domain is preferred.
• Strong understanding of BNM Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) requirements.
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification
• Experience managing end-to-end RFP processes is highly desirable.
