The Role

We are looking to a highly motivated Early Talent Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive, strategically minded individual who is driven to design and launch early talent programs from the ground up.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition while leading the development of a best-in-class internship and new graduate hiring strategy, shaping the future of early talent at Nex. As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and developing the next generation of high-performing talent, ensuring long-term success for the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and shape the full-cycle recruitment strategy for summer interns and early talent programs, aligning closely with business goals across the U.S. and Hong Kong offices.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with universities and external organizations, leveraging deep knowledge of internship program timelines to attract top talent.
  • Lead the design and delivery of a world-class summer internship experience from onboarding, learning, mentorship, and performance management to maximize full-time conversion in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to provide clear visibility into recruitment activities, influence hiring decisions, and manage expectations for both stakeholders and candidates.
  • Leverage CRM/ATS platforms (e.g., Handshake, LinkedIn, Greenhouse) to streamline the recruitment process and turn data into actionable insights that drive results.
  • Plan and execute campus recruitment events, career fairs, and networking sessions to actively engage with students, promote the employer brand, and build pipelines of high-potential early talent.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event activities, including marketing, candidate follow-up, and tracking ROI, ensuring a seamless and impactful candidate experience.
  • Travel internationally and domestically during peak recruiting seasons to engage top talent and strengthen relationships.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in university relations or early-career recruiting.
  • Proven experience in early talent recruitment on the U.S. West Coast and Hong Kong, including campus and internship hiring, with a strong understanding of academic program timelines, is highly desirable.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent Nex as a brand ambassador.
  • Proven ability to leverage metrics and data to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Experienced event planner with the ability to coordinate and manage global travel for recruiting events and initiatives.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong project and stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to attend recruiting conferences and events as required.
