Graduate Media Internship

The NFL UK & Ireland office manages the NFL’s business in the UK & Ireland, including the staging of regular-season games in London and our first NFL international game in Dublin, Madrid and Berlin, broadcast and commercial relationships, grassroots and community activity, fan events and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel 
  • Particular interest in the Sports, Entertainment and/or Media industries is a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the UK

Responsibilities: 

  • Support on audience performance analysis and reporting across key markets
  • Support with ad-hoc analysis to support media renewals and identifying to prospective media partners
  • Manage day to day account management of international broadcast partners, including coordinating partner merchandise requests (e.g. for promotions, giveaways, studios)
  • Co-ordinating approvals of partner marketing assets and overseeing partner ticketing for domestic US games
  • Support with the account management of international broadcast partners around major tentpole events, including partner ticketing and hospitality for International Games & Super Bowl and oversee Super Bowl partner gifting
  • Manage the credentials process for international broadcasters attending the Super Bowl, working with internal teams to ensure they receive the access they need to produce the best possible live game productions and content
  • Oversee day to day email communications with international media partners throughout the season, including sharing of editorial briefings produced in the US, creation of any international specific updates and briefings on tentpole moments in the season, so that partners have all of the key information they need to better promote the NFL and create more engaging content
  • Coordinate the weekly selection of games to be distributed to international broadcasters
  • Manage internal International Media team meetings (agenda and minutes) on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate contract approvals and uploading to contract management system

 

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Interest in Sports and/or Media
  • Completed an undergraduate degree in 2024/2025
  • Reference required from University tutor
  • Basic level with IT software programmes, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • To be available for the full duration of the internship from August 2025 to March 2026

Travel:

  • The role will mostly be office-based, with occasional off-site meetings and events, around London and UK.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

  • The internship will be full-time paid role (40 hours per week), based out of the NFL UK & Ireland office in Central London, Leicester Square.
  • The candidate will be required to work 4/5 days in the UK & Ireland office and some overtime/ weekends for the London Game fixtures and activations. Relocation costs will not be provided.

The shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 16 May, to complete an online interview screening and if successful move to the final interview stage, where they will be required to complete a small project task to be presented at an in-person interview in June.
