Analytics Associate-Club Social Marketing (External Staffing Agency)

The NFL is seeking an Analytics Associate to join the Club Social Marketing team within the Social and Influencer Marketing department. This individual will be responsible for analyzing large social media data sets, generating actionable insights, and supporting the development of Club social strategy. Key responsibilities include compiling performance reports, tagging content to enhance data accuracy, and assisting with gameday support across all 32 Clubs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with high volumes of data, and passionate about football.

This is a long term contract opportunity with the NFL, onsite five days per week. This role can be based out of our NYC or Inglewood League office.

Responsibilities

  • Tag and categorize social content to ensure accurate performance tracking and analysis.
  • Analyze large sets of social media data to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities across Club accounts.
  • Distill data from all 32 Club social handles into digestible and informative weekly, monthly, and event-based reports.
  • Generate and present actionable insights to inform Club social strategy and content development.
  • Compile regular reports on Club content performance and audience engagement.
  • Provide gameday support and real-time reporting as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on data needs, reporting standards, and strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or another related field.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and content performance (including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, X, Snap, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask multiple high-stakes projects efficiently.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are extremely crucial to this role.
  • Ability to stay on top of deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and on a team.
  • Experience with social analytics tools such as Emplifi, Zoomph, etc.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, visually compelling presentations and dashboards.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends during NFL gamedays, League events (e.g. Combine, Draft), and other peak periods.
  • Must be able to work holidays depending on the NFL game schedule (including but not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary

$30 - $35 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
