Manager, Marketing Activations, Brazil
The Marketing Activation Manager will play a critical role in bringing our brand, campaigns, and partnerships to life in-market. This role will partner closely with our global Centers of Excellence (COEs) across Creative, Consumer Media, and Campaigns to localize and activate priority initiatives, while owning the end-to-end execution of local campaigns, social (IG), owned & operated (O&O) promotion, partner/sponsor events, GMP events, and community activations including FLAG programming.
This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution and enjoys turning big ideas into impactful, on-the-ground experiences.
This position reports to the Marketing Lead and is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with global strategy while tailoring for local audiences and cultural relevance
- Partner with Campaigns COE to localize toolkits, messaging, and creative assets for in-market use
- Own campaign timelines, deliverables, and executional excellence across all touchpoints
- Serve as the primary in-market partner to the Creative COE, briefing local needs, providing market insights, and managing the adaptation of global creative for local use
- Manage creative workflows, approvals, and delivery for campaigns, social, O&O, and events
- Own the local Instagram content strategy and calendar
- Plan and execute organic social content to support campaigns, events, partnerships, and community initiatives
- Lead Owned & Operated (O&O) promotion across local channels (e.g., website, email, app, in-venue, etc.) to drive awareness and engagement
- Lead the execution of sponsor and partner events/activations, ensuring brand alignment, strong fan experience, and delivery against partnership objectives
- Partner with Partnerships, Creative, and Events teams to bring partner integrations to life in-market
- Support and execute GMP (Global Marketing Partnerships) events and key marketing moments in-market
- Act as local lead for planning, logistics, and execution in partnership with central teams
- Ensure consistent brand standards and a premium fan experience across all executions
- Support the planning and execution of NFL FLAG, grassroots, and community events in market
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree educated (Marketing/Digital, Administration/Business, Finance and/or related)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- 1 year management experience leading people/teams (agencies, vendors, stakeholders, others)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret insights and data to drive fan engagement strategies
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Proven experience delivering live events, brand activations, or experiential marketing programs
- Strong background working with creative teams and agencies
- Experience managing local campaigns and social content
- Proficient in marketing terms, digital, market research and innovation
- Proven creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication, drive, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word to develop presentations and budgets
- Multitasking skills and good time-management skills
- Passport (for international travel)
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Sports/Entertainment/FMCG/market research/marketing experience preferred but not essential (ideally knowledge of NFL to facilitate the process).
- A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently.
- Deadline and results-driven, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, and communicate effectively, both internally and externally.
