About the project
As an AJO / ACO Developer, you design, build, and operate customer journey and campaign experiences on Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Campaign within Integris’s Digital Marketing Technology practice. This role is the hands-on engineering muscle behind the orchestration layer that activates client data into real, personalized customer experiences across email, push, SMS, in-app, and inbound channels.
What you’ll do
- Configure and extend Adobe Journey Optimizer: schemas, datasets, identities, merge policies, segments, journeys, channel configurations, and message templates.
- Build and maintain Adobe Campaign (Classic and/or Standard) workflows, delivery templates, typology rules, recipient targeting, and tracking configurations.
- Implement personalization using AEP Profile, computed attributes, segmentation, and decisioning where applicable (Offer Decisioning, AJO Decisioning).
- Develop email, push, SMS, in-app, and code-based experiences using HTML, CSS, AMPscript-equivalent expressions, Handlebars-style helpers, and AJO/ACO personalization syntax.
- Implement event-driven journeys (experience events, segment qualification, business events) and integrate with upstream sources via streaming and batch ingestion.
- Build integrations between AJO/ACO and AEP, source systems, CDPs, data warehouses, and downstream channel providers using APIs, webhooks, and connectors.
- Implement and maintain XDM schemas, field groups, identity maps, and dataset configurations; partner with data engineering on ingestion patterns and data quality.
- Own the quality of your own work: unit-level validation, rendering and inbox checks, seed lists, sample sends, and end-to-end journey rehearsals before release.
- Monitor journey and campaign health in production: delivery rates, throughput, errors, segmentation drift, and consent/suppression compliance.
- Translate marketer requirements (campaign briefs, journey maps, audience definitions) into concrete AJO/ACO configurations and clarify ambiguities early.
What makes you a great fit 🎯
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ Years of experience working in building marketing technology solutions.
- 2+ Years of hands-on experience working with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Campaign Classic, or Adobe Campaign Standard.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform: XDM schemas, datasets, identities, Real-Time Customer Profile, segmentation, and source/destination connectors.
- Strong skills in JavaScript; comfort with HTML and CSS for responsive email and in-app templates; familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON.
- Hands-on experience with AJO journeys, channel configurations, and message authoring, and/or Adobe Campaign workflows, delivery templates, and JSSP/JavaScript.
- Solid grasp of personalization patterns, dynamic content, decisioning concepts, and the differences between batch, scheduled, and event-triggered orchestration.
- Experience with data ingestion patterns (streaming, batch, file-based) and a working understanding of identity stitching, consent, and suppression.
- Familiarity with email deliverability fundamentals: authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), rendering, list hygiene, and reputation monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Git-based workflows, ticketing systems (Jira), and modern release practices for marketing-platform deployments.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
