The Risk Management Senior Analyst (Sustainability Risk/Wholesale Credit Risk) plays a key role in this context, contributing to the strengthening of controls and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of these two teams.

You will be responsible for
- Hybrid Risk Management: Act strategically and integratively in the Wholesale Credit Risk and Sustainability Risks (Social, Environmental, and Climate - SAC) areas, contributing to the robustness of controls and process optimization in both domains.
- Credit and Sustainability Risk Analysis (Social, Environmental, and Climate - SAC): Conduct analyses of wholesale operations, supporting conscious risk-taking decisions and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Wholesale Credit Provision Calculation: Continuously analyze the credit status of companies in the portfolio at the time of provisioning to classify and correctly associate default probabilities. Ensure process integrity and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders.
- Implementation of Controls: Develop and enhance controls for evaluating the effectiveness of wholesale credit risk management and socio-environmental and climate risks. Contribute to the implementation of regulatory norms and best practices.
- Process Automation: Actively contribute to the design and implementation of process automation initiatives related to risk areas, serving as the interface between specialists and teams responsible for automation projects.
- Framework Implementation: Support teams in implementing risk frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices while maintaining consistency and effectiveness in controls.
- Metric Monitoring: Track and analyze metrics related to wholesale credit risk and socio-environmental and climate risks, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Regulatory Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analyses of operations or counterparties and prepare regulatory reports on socio-environmental risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the initial identification of SAC and credit risks in new products and services.
- Translating Needs: Translate automation and data usage needs for teams responsible for platform development, facilitating the implementation of innovative and efficient solutions.
We are looking for a person who has
- Has at least 4 years of experience in financial institutions.
- Has solid knowledge of accounting (preferably in corporate credit analysis) and risk management (experience with socio-environmental and climate risks is a plus).
- Has experience in data analysis and programming (SQL, Python).
- Has in-depth knowledge of financial institution regulations and regulatory reporting.
- Is autonomous and thrives in a dynamic environment where priority shifts are common.
- Is curious, eager to absorb new knowledge, and willing to develop new skills.
- Is data-oriented, capable of identifying trends and proposing dynamic solutions. Has experience in data analysis, integration, and visualization tools.
- Has strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights objectively to stakeholders. Possesses expertise in policy, procedure, and study documentation.
- Has strong project management skills, especially in handling diverse stakeholders across different locations, with agility and adaptability in an evolving environment.
- Has analytical skills to conduct risk assessments and identify regulatory process gaps.
- Bonus points for familiarity with risk management frameworks and experience in risk management and/or process improvement, with skills in establishing processes, routines, and systems.
- Has an interest in working in a hybrid role focusing on wholesale credit risk and sustainability risks.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Our Nu Way of Working
Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For every eleven weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
