About the role

At Nubank, our Technical Product Managers are the heartbeat of our ongoing success, crucial in identifying and addressing key customer challenges at a scalable level. This pivotal role acts as the bridge between our overarching business strategy and the dynamic needs of our development teams. By crafting products that propel our business forward, these Product Managers streamline and expand capabilities to unlock potential and mitigate risks. Their efforts resonate across our core cloud architecture, data infrastructure, financial systems, security platforms, customer service tools, and other internal products. They carry the mission of preparing Nubank to meet the evolving needs of our customers for generations to come.
 
You will be responsible for
  • Defining, prioritizing, and communicating both immediate and visionary product goals.
  • Cultivating a profound understanding of users and stakeholders through insightful research, rigorous data analysis, and engaging interviews.
  • Specifying and refining product requirements from conception to launch, while collaborating closely with engineering and, when necessary, design, data science, credit, and finance teams.
  • Staying updated of complex domains such as cloud services and information security to steer the team effectively.
  • Acting as a passionate advocate, ensuring seamless communication between the team and stakeholders to dissolve disparities in understanding.
We are looking for a person who has
  • Proven experience in working with software products as a Product Manager or a comparable role.
  • Extensive expertise in managing the entire product lifecycle for successful tech products.
  • A strong drive to discover and fulfill user needs.
  • Confidence in leveraging numbers for data-driven decision-making.
  • The ability to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A knack for transforming incomplete or conflicting information into actionable plans.
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • A deep eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Our Nu Way of Working
