About the role of marketing team:

The marketing team is responsible for building the brand in Mexico, for both potential customers so that they choose us as their financial ally, and for current customers to increase product engagement and cross-selling opportunities. Through the correct execution of our brand plan, we drive key Brand Health Tracker (BHT) metrics uplift, plus trigger start applications and releases with an efficient cost through a full-funnel always-on (AON) strategy. The Marketing  team in Mexico is formed by a diverse team of professionals and it is divided in 3 main areas:

  • Early Journey: Brand and Growth teams responsible for building the brand and mainly attracting new customers across a full funnel strategy (upper, mid and lower funnel).
  • Product Mkt: Responsible for launching new products and keeping our customers engaged with our suite of products. 
  • Content Strategy: Responsible for always-on communications in owned channels, social media, Blog and influencers.

We all work really closely with the Customer Insights, Creative Mkt, Media and Business Analytics teams, with which we partner in almost every initiative.

 

Responsibilities of Growth Mkt Manager

  • Marketing Plan: Support the timely execution of the marketing strategy and brand plan of the year. 
  • Projects Ownership: Own or co-lead projects and give end to end follow up to ensure launching on time and form.
  • Develop and Implement Data-Driven Growth Strategies: Craft and execute innovative growth strategies leveraging data analysis to identify opportunities for scaling the business. Focus on maximizing customer acquisition, retention, CAC and ROI.
  • Optimize Marketing Funnel: Lead the continuous optimization of marketing full funnel to keep communication consistency, improve conversion rates and drive sustainable growth. 
  • Testing Mindset: Plan A/B testing and multivariate experiments looking to learn, iterate and boost performance metrics.

Post Launch Analysis: Understand performance campaigns key metrics to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different areas and stakeholders (creative, media, analytics) and foster collaboration to ensure alignment with the overarching business goals.
  • Growth Marketing Key Projects: Lead always on Middle funnel and Lower funnel asset refreshes, video campaigns, app install campaigns, website, new channels for customer acquisition.

 

Skills you´ll need to succeed: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in performance marketing and marketing.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking.
  • Performance marketing knowledge and experience in developing strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, and acquisition costs optimization.
  • Performance KPI’s knowledge, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and lead teams or projects towards successful execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities and strategies might shift quickly.
  • End to end project management.
  • The ability to handle a multitude of projects and issues at one time.
  • Initiative, self-motivation, the ability to work independently. 
  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills.
  • English and Spanish professional proficiency.

The Nu Way of Working is our hybrid work model that was created so people could collaborate more in person and still keep the flexibility of remote work. Now, our work model has two-month cycles: for every seven weeks of remote work, one week will be at the office, in this case in our Mexico City Office located near Polanco.
