Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Strategic Account Management will lead and mentor our most experienced account managers. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring exceptional client retention and satisfaction, and cultivating long-term strategic partnerships with our key buy-side and investment banking clients.
As a strategic leader, you will develop and execute comprehensive account strategies, identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities, and foster deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You will be a hands-on leader, combining strategic vision with a detail-oriented approach to achieve and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- Work with the team to develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth and client satisfaction.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at strategic client accounts.
- Help the team identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product adoption.
Sales Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Strategic Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and drive accountability.
- Implement best practices for account management, sales strategy, and client engagement.
- Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for Octus’s subscription relationships.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and analyze key metrics, including revenue, retention rates, and product usage, to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on account performance and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize account strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Octus’s product team to identify opportunities for product and platform enhancements.
At Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The salary range estimate for this position is $260,000-$310,000.
The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a performance-based annual bonus.
