The Role:
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Business Director, with a strong understanding of highly strategic and creative integrated accounts. To work on one of our cornerstone creative accounts – across a large drinks portfolio. Previous experience running a fast paced, integrated and highly strategic and creative accounts are a must. Previous experience in FMCG, beverage or alcohol is a bonus too. we are looking for an assertive leader who can build trust of clients and interagency village.
As a Business Director at our agency, you will lead large and complex projects, driving growth and delivering high-quality work. You will be able to think beyond the short term, identifying potential opportunities, risks, and solutions to help your team achieve their goals. You will be a trusted partner and advisor to mid-level and senior clients, with a thorough understanding of their business objectives and aspirations, and will provide a sounding board for deeper conversations around potential opportunities.
You will actively demonstrate accountability for the agency's performance and the client relationship, managing key stakeholders and engaging with other crafts at our agency to identify potential opportunities and risks. You will be able to take a holistic view of projects or activities and identify future opportunities, while also being able to think on your feet and act decisively as required to problem solve quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights to help them achieve their goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication and ensuring client needs are being met on time and within budget.
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of client projects and campaigns.
- Provide thought leadership and innovative ideas to help clients achieve their business objectives and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, collaborating with the agency's new business team to create and deliver compelling pitches.
- Ensure client satisfaction by regularly tracking and reporting on campaign performance and making recommendations for optimization.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and share that knowledge with clients and the agency team.
- Act as a brand steward for clients, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all campaigns and touchpoints.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in account management, marketing, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies across multiple channels.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage team members.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and growth for clients.
- Experience working with large global brands and managing complex, multi-national campaigns.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
