Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for an Investor Relations Analyst to join our Investor Relations team.

Position Description:

We are seeking an Investor Relations Analyst. You'll be working directly with the Director of Investor Relations as part of a high-impact and fast-paced team, helping to shape Oklo’s engagement with institutional investors, analysts, and the broader financial community. You will represent Oklo as it pioneers the future of advanced fission, articulating one of the most compelling stories in energy and technology at the intersection of clean power, industrial innovation, and grid transformation. You will also provide key insights based on your analysis of industry trends, capital markets activity, and broader economic developments. With a strong analytical and technical foundation, you will engage in high-impact interactions with both external and internal stakeholders.

Note: Candidates may be asked to complete an investor relations case study as part of the interview process, which may include financial analysis, market research, and investor messaging exercises.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Oklo’s business, strategy, and industry, including advanced nuclear power, nuclear fuel and fuel recycling, and radioisotope markets.
  • Support quarterly earnings preparation and execution.
  • Manage the investor relations CRM (Irwin), tracking analyst and investor engagement while analyzing and distilling meeting outcomes.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating investor meetings, conference calls, non-deal roadshows, investor/analyst days, and conferences.
  • Travel required to support investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
  • Screen, build, and maintain strong relationships with investors and analysts, fostering open communication and confidence in Oklo’s strategy.
  • Proactively engage with and manage communications existing and prospective investors through calls, meetings, and events.
  • Track and analyze industry trends, peer earnings reports, and equity research, summarizing key insights.
  • Oversee and update the investor relations section of the company website to ensure accurate and timely information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep interest in the advanced nuclear power and/or radiopharmaceutical sectors with a desire to continuously learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience, preferably in buy-side or sell-side equity research or investor relations at a public company in the energy or radiopharmaceutical sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to translate highly technical content into clear, accessible messaging for investors and stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player who can also operate independently.
  • Willingness to travel, for investor conferences, company events, and non-deal roadshows.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of key financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, CapitalIQ, etc.
  • Experience in the energy sector, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and market trends.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irwin
  • Preferred location: New York City or nearby for better access to ad hoc investor meetings.

Location:

Oklo is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA. Candidates based near Santa Clara, CA or New York City, NY are preferred, but other locations may be considered for experienced applicants.  Some travel is required for this position.

Who you are:

A startup person: You aren't driven by titles or hierarchy, and you don't need or expect to have a lot of guidance, but you enjoy working in a fast-paced team. If you prefer the culture and feel of a large organization, that is great, but you likely won’t enjoy working with us! There is plenty of important work and plenty of good opportunities with organizations like that.

Motivated: You are self-motivated. You bring enthusiasm to the team and imbue a sense of passion that goes beyond clocking in and clocking out. This isn’t about a fake or arbitrary “pieces of flair” mentality or lack of work-life balance! It is about being a part of the vision and feeling a part of reaching team goals.

A team-player: Oklo genuinely is a team. We aren’t about taking credit for ourselves, and we aren’t about pushing blame to others. We do incredible things because we work as a team.

An excellent communicator: We need a person who is not only technically competent but also a clear and upbeat communicator verbally, in written form, and via presentations.

Creative: Being creative means that when things fall outside clear scopes or processes or problems arise without clear solutions, you can identify it as well as invent ways to solve a problem or fill a need without micromanagement. The successful person in this job will enjoy being creative and solving open-ended problems which may change day by day.

Process and detail-oriented: This focus is a big part of excellence, consistency, and quality.

About Oklo compensation: $90,000-$140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.

Oklo offers flexible time off, equity, competitive pay, 401k, health insurance, FSA, flexible work hours, and other benefits.
