Role:  Social Content Creator

Location:  Amsterdam, Netherlands

Employment: 12-month FTC with view to extend

PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Obsessed with TikTok trends? Know how products become culture on social? We’re looking for a Social Content Creator to bring domestic appliances - from air fryers and coffee machines to vacuum cleaners - to life through high‑impact, social‑native content.

This role sits within a newly built global in‑house studio in Amsterdam, operating with the pace of an agency and the depth of an in‑house team. You’ll be at the centre of a social‑first set‑up, creating content that turns everyday appliances into aspirational, entertaining, and culturally relevant moments on platform.

From ASMR coffee pours and air‑fryer recipe hacks to satisfying cleaning demos, POV content, memes, and trend‑led formats, your job is to make functional products feel irresistible on social. You’ll know how to translate product benefits into content people actually want to watch, save, and share - especially Gen Z and younger millennials.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Shoot and edit social‑first content across platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram
  • Own the content process end‑to‑end: originating ideas, storyboards, scripts, shot lists, props, shooting and editing through to delivery
  • Translate global brand and campaign ideas into platform‑native executions that feel culturally relevant
  • Stay ahead of social trends and proactively share ideas and executional concepts with the team
  • Create a wide range of content formats including:
    • Short‑form video
    • Photography
    • GIFs and short clips
    • Product demos and how‑to content
    • Unboxings and first‑person POVs
    • Lifestyle, meme, and reactive trend content
  • Confidently handle and showcase domestic appliances (e.g. cooking with air fryers, coffee preparation, cleaning demos) in an engaging and authentic way
  • Produce content both at events and in real‑life environments such as your home or studio setups
  • Attend relevant shoots, launches, PR moments, and events to capture social content
  • React quickly to cultural and social moments while also supporting planned campaigns
  • Organise your own workload, managing multiple deadlines and briefs efficiently

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating 3+ years’ experience creating social content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, stills)
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram culture, formats, and trends
  • Excellent short‑form video shooting and editing skills, with strong use of transitions
  • A sharp eye for visual detail, pacing, and storytelling
  • Comfort creating product‑led content in a natural, engaging way
  • Strong awareness of cultural moments across food, design, tech, fashion, music, gaming, and lifestyle
  • Ability to interpret briefs while understanding broader business and brand objectives
  • Confidence being in front of the camera when needed (including hands‑in‑frame product interaction)
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, move fast, and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong time‑management skills and a bias for action
