Role: Content Creator

Location:
London, United Kingdom

About the role:

As Content Creator, you'll be at the centre of production — turning briefs into high-quality, platform-native content quickly and effectively. You'll work across short-form video, static, and motion formats, creating content that is on-brand, culturally relevant, and built to scale across markets. Based in London on a hybrid basis (2–3 days per week), you'll work closely with Social Media Managers, Strategists, Data Analysts, and Account teams to ensure everything produced is aligned, approved, and continuously improving.

We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role in a high-volume social studio. You'll produce and adapt content across platforms and markets, supporting both always-on output and campaign activity. You'll be expected to work at pace without compromising craft — translating briefs into clear, engaging outputs, iterating based on performance, and building content that can be localised and repurposed efficiently.

Success in this role looks like a consistent flow of high-quality, platform-ready content that performs, improves over time, and travels effectively across markets.

What you will be doing:

  • Social-First Content Creation
    • Create content for key platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, across short-form video, static, and motion formats
    • Ensure all content is on-brand, platform-native, and ready to publish without additional rework
    • Maintain strong creative standards across every output, regardless of volume or pace
  • Concepting and Execution
    • Develop content ideas that connect the brand to relevant cultural moments and platform behaviours
    • Translate briefs into clear, engaging creative outputs — writing and refining captions, hooks, and scripts where needed
    • Adapt brand tone and creative direction appropriately across different markets and platforms
  • High-Volume Content Production
    • Deliver content consistently at pace within an always-on studio environment
    • Build content that is modular and reusable — templates, variants, cut-downs, and localisation-ready assets that enable efficient adaptation at scale
    • Manage multiple content streams simultaneously without losing quality or detail
  • Multi-Market Adaptation
    • Adapt content for different markets, ensuring cultural relevance, language accuracy, and platform-specific optimisation
    • Support the balance between global creative direction and local execution requirements
  • Collaboration and Workflow
    • Work closely with Social Media Managers, Strategists, Data Analysts, and Account teams to ensure content is aligned, approved, and delivered on time
    • Navigate legal, compliance, and brand approval processes efficiently, flagging issues early
    • Collaborate with external creators, influencers, and production partners where needed
  • Performance Optimisation
    • Use performance data and platform signals — including engagement, saves, and retention — to improve content quality and refine formats and approaches
    • Actively iterate based on what is working, what is not, and what has the potential to scale
  • Standards and Best Practice
    • Maintain high standards in visual quality, editing, and brand representation across all output
    • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are considered in every piece of content produced
    • Stay current on platform trends, emerging formats, and creative innovations — applying relevant insight to day-to-day output

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A strong portfolio of social-first content demonstrating capability across short-form video and static formats
  • Proven ability to concept, shoot (where applicable), edit, and finish content to a high standard for social platforms
  • Proficiency with tools including Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva, Figma, or equivalent
  • Clear understanding of platform best practices, content formats that perform, and what drives engagement across key social channels
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality content at pace, managing multiple briefs and content streams simultaneously
  • Experience translating briefs into clear, platform-ready outputs within brand guidelines and approval processes
  • Background working in high-volume, always-on content environments — agency, in-house, or studio
  • Experience creating content for consumer brands, with FMCG experience an advantage
  • Familiarity with multi-stakeholder environments and content workflows involving strategy, social, and data teams
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to content creation — including tools that support ideation, script and caption drafting, versioning, and production workflow optimisation
  • Experience building personal AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency and improve output quality
  • Agentic approach to briefs and production challenges: able to break down complex tasks, identify efficient paths to execution, and deliver with consistency
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply strong creative judgement before finalising or publishing
  • Experience in multi-market environments or embedded in-house and studio setups
  • Familiarity with influencer and creator-led content production
  • Understanding of paid social best practices — variants, testing, and safe zones
  • Experience building scalable content systems or localisation-ready asset libraries
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts, whether gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
