Role:  Mid Weight Designer

Location:  London, United Kingdom

About the role:

As an Integrated Designer with Motion, you'll work across the full production cycle — from initial brief through to completion — on a varied mix of digital, print, social, and motion projects for a global B2B client. You'll be equally comfortable working within established brand guidelines and bringing fresh creative thinking to new briefs. Motion and video are a genuine strength you'll draw on regularly: animating, editing, and producing content from concept through to delivery. This is a mid-level role with real creative scope and the expectation of independent delivery, strong quality control, and a proactive approach to your own development.

What you will be doing:

  • Produce design work across digital, print, social, motion, and experiential — taking briefs from initial concept through to final delivery to the client's exacting standards.
  • Create dynamic, well-crafted animations and videos using After Effects, including motion design, animation, video editing, and voiceover editing.
  • Interpret and uplift existing content for new global brand visual identities — adding design flair while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Develop and pitch new creative concepts to clients, clearly articulating the rationale behind your design decisions.
  • Create storyboards and animation concepts that are visually impactful, clear, and easy to follow.
  • Work with precision within brand guidelines and design toolkits, taking personal responsibility for quality control across all output.
  • Build high-quality presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, and support production-led work when the brief requires it.
  • Work with Figma on digital designs and design systems, ensuring responsive design principles are applied across platforms.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently, delivering to deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Share brand knowledge and constructive feedback with other designers, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with social platform specs, digital design trends, and emerging design innovations — bringing new thinking to the team proactively.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A strong, versatile design portfolio demonstrating craft across digital, print, social, and motion — with clear evidence of typographic quality, layout skill, and conceptual thinking.
  • Proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite — InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects — and confident use of Figma for digital design and design systems.
  • Motion and video production skills including animation, video editing, and voiceover editing in After Effects.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for high-quality presentation design.
  • Experience working across a varied mix of deliverable types, including social assets, email, landing pages, websites, factsheets, documents, brochures, eBooks, infographics, presentations, storyboards, animations, and video.
  • Deep understanding of social-first design — platform specifications, format trends, and what drives engagement across channels.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles across digital platforms.
  • A sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of personal quality control, and the ability to work accurately within guidelines and toolkits.
  • Clear, confident communication skills — you can express your creative thinking and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience in B2B marketing or technology brands is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to design and motion — including Pencil AI and other approved tools — to enhance creative output, production speed, and versioning.
  • Experience building personal AI workflows to improve efficiency and explore new creative possibilities.
  • Actively engaged with ongoing AI training and development — including structured learning, webinars, newsletters, and AI communities.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply strong design judgement — maintaining craft quality and brand consistency.
  • Agentic approach to complex, multi-deliverable briefs: you break down challenges systematically and find efficient, high-quality paths to completion.
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience — gained through work, self-directed learning, or other routes — counts equally.
