Role:  Social Creative Lead

Location:  London, United Kingdom

About the role:

As Social Creative Lead, you'll be the creative engine behind ENERGY's social output — taking briefs from concept through to delivery across the client's diverse brand portfolio. You'll work on individual brand campaigns and large-scale global social playbooks, always with a clear rationale behind the creative decisions. You'll bring deep platform knowledge, a sharp conceptual instinct, and the confidence to present and sell your thinking to clients. This is a varied, fast-paced role that rewards initiative, craft, and a genuine passion for social.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead creative development across paid and organic social campaigns for the client's brand portfolio — from initial concept through to execution and delivery.
  • Partner closely with the social strategist to translate creative strategy into platform-native ideas and assets.
  • Develop global social playbooks that define creative direction, best practice, and brand presence across markets — and guide clients through the process.
  • Create high-quality digital assets including static visuals, video content, GIFs, and memes, tailored to each platform's format and audience behaviour.
  • Build and present compelling creative decks that clearly articulate your thinking, showcase the work, and reference best-in-class creative to support client buy-in.
  • Act as brand guardian for the client, ensuring all output is consistent with brand guidelines and meets the client's standards.
  • Use existing assets and stock imagery creatively and effectively to develop timely, relevant content.
  • Stay current with platform developments, social trends, and digital innovations — bringing new ideas to the team proactively.
  • Manage your workload across multiple concurrent projects, delivering accurate, high-quality work within agreed timescales.
  • Contribute to team ideation and work both independently and collaboratively depending on the project.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proven experience delivering paid and organic social creative for major consumer brands across all key platforms — including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Snapchat.
  • Strong conceptual ability — you understand what makes social creative effective and can translate a brief into original, platform-native ideas with a clear rationale.
  • Deep, current knowledge of social platform formats, behaviours, and best practice, with genuine curiosity about where the space is heading.
  • Experience developing global social playbooks and guiding clients from strategy through to creative execution.
  • Confident, credible client-facing skills — you can build a persuasive deck and communicate your creative thinking clearly and convincingly.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma; familiarity with video editing and motion tools is an advantage.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a consistent commitment to quality and accuracy across all output.
  • The ability to manage a varied workload across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment without compromising craft.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach — you seek out new opportunities and develop your skills without being prompted.
  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to social creative — including image generation, ideation support, and content tools — to enhance creative output and efficiency.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for yourself and, where relevant, the wider team.
  • Comfortable sharing knowledge and training others on effective AI tool use.
  • Agentic thinking for complex, multi-step creative challenges — you break problems down and find clear paths forward.
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human oversight of outputs.
