Role: Group Head - Copy
Location: Mumbai, India
About the role:
Looking for a Group Head with 6 to 9 years of experience in digital copywriting within digital marketing agencies, with mandatory experience in beauty and skincare. Experience in integrated ad agencies, mainstream advertising, new media, marketing, creative, or similar roles within mainline or digital agencies is also preferred.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and write narratives, scripts, storyboards, annotations, and treatments.
- Articulate ideas with clarity, ensuring they are on-brand, aligned with messaging, and tailored to the target audience.
- Present ideas both internally and to clients, with clear structure and coherence. Create and execute brand strategies with a deep understanding of market trends.
- Ensure brand continuity and adhere to brand guidelines and positioning.
- Creatively leverage technology to solve business challenges.
- Contribute to pitch work.
- Drive and refine the quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality, and collaboration.
- Proactively identify creative opportunities for client work, guided by seniors and directors.
- Collaborate with the Art Director on creative concepts under the direction of the creative director.
- Mentor and guide junior copywriters and interns, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Proven experience as a Group Head or similar role in a digital marketing setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital content, including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, ad copy, and strategic insights.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and the ability to effectively incorporate keywords into copy.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies, with an awareness of the latest industry trends.
- Ability to lead and inspire a creative team, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
