Role: Art Director 

Location: Mumbai, India

 

About the role:

The Digital Art Director will be managing projects for key global brands across multiple platforms and channels. Together with the Lead Creator, you will develop digital concepts, art direction and assets that demonstrate exemplary standards in craft, whilst adhering to the client’s brand guidelines. Experience in Adobe After Effects / basic motion graphics required. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Art direct and produce high standards in craft and innovative work across platforms 
  • Be accountable for the full creative process from concept to execution 
  • Work closely with Lead Creator to create strong concepts from the initial briefing 
  • Assist the Lead Creator in pitching creative solutions in response to client’s marketing strategies 
  • Manage the preparation of all finished artwork files that will comply with the correct output specifications 
  • Ensure all design work is aligned with the latest digital requirements and social trends 

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Strong in ideation and concepting from big ideas to digital and social campaigns 
  • Strong art direction and visualisation skills from static to motion 
  • Good understanding of the digital landscape and social assets development 
  • Strong typographic skills 
  • A highly creative integrated designer that can positively influence client briefs with your innovative ideas 
  • Confident in bringing your own ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral 
  • Understanding of design principles and an awareness of UX, UI and Responsive Design trends 
  • Effectively organising and prioritising workload to manage timely client delivery 
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills. Experience in Adobe After Effects / basic motion graphics required 
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion 
  • Attention to detail and able to work under own initiative 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Excellent experience working closely with clients during kick-off 
  • Confident in presenting work to internal teams and to clients 
  • Believes in making this world a better place though meaningful work 
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, changing client environment 
  • A passionate, driven and enthusiastic creative 
  • Never settling for good and constantly strives to deliver the best 
  • Self-motivated, working with high accountability and little supervision 
  • Collaborative team player with an open mind 
  • Possess the aptitude to learn new software effectively 
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies 
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
