Role: Traffic Manager 

Location: Grand Rapids, MI – Hybrid/Onsite (2-3x/week) 

About the role: 

OLIVER is partnering with BISSELL to build a world-class in-house agency, redefining marketing workflow and project execution. We are seeking a Traffic Manager to oversee the smooth coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation for marketing projects across multiple consumer touchpoints, including digital, print, motion, social, CRM, POP, and eCommerce. This role requires a highly organized and detail-driven project facilitator who can manage project lifecycles from intake to delivery. You will work closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing teams to maintain timelines, workflows, and resource alignment. Additionally, you will explore GenAI tools to optimize project tracking, automate workflow management, and enhance scheduling efficiencies. What you will be doing: 

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of marketing projects, from intake to final execution. 
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring teams meet milestones and deadlines. 
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks, reallocating resources as needed to keep projects on track. 
  • Establish clear workflow protocols, ensuring efficiency across departments. 
  • Ensure briefs are comprehensive, accurate, and actionable for all creative teams. 
  • Identify and manage opportunities for project optimization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Assign and balance workload distribution among creative teams to optimize efficiency. 
  • Partner with Creative Directors and Account Teams to ensure proper project staffing. 
  • Maintain oversight of team capacity, identifying where additional resources may be required. 
  • Act as a central point of communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on expectations, timelines, and priorities. 
  • Ensure quality control by providing feedback and guidance to project teams. 
  • Maintain real-time project tracking, ensuring stakeholders have full visibility into project progress. 
  • Utilize GenAI-powered project management tools to automate scheduling and workflow processes. 
  • Generate and analyze performance metrics, providing insights on team capacity and process efficiency. 
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, refining processes for better speed, accuracy, and creative output. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in traffic management, project coordination, or operations within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront, Monday, Wrike, or similar platforms. 
  • Ability to assess project briefs and requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and creative execution. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience coordinating across departments. 
  • Experience in resource planning and workload balancing, ensuring efficiency and fairness. 
  • A problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate and mitigate risks before they impact timelines. 
  • Interest in AI-driven project automation tools, exploring how GenAI can enhance workflow efficiencies. 
  • Familiarity with marketing and creative processes, ensuring smooth execution of projects across digital, print, video, and eCommerce. 
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced marketing or creative environment. 
  • Background in retail, consumer product marketing, or shopper marketing workflows. 
  • Understanding of eCommerce operations and content production workflows. 
  • Data analysis skills, using reporting insights to improve resource allocation and efficiency. 
  • Knowledge of content version control and asset management systems. 
  • Exposure to digital asset management platforms like Adobe Workfront or Experience Manager. 
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management skills, ensuring project expectations align with available resources. 
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $76,500.00 to $85,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
