As a part of The Brandtech Group, we're at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to revolutionise how we create and deliver work. Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision-making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.

Role: Creative Director, Embedded Creative Studio

Location: Austin, TX (travel required)

About the role:

We're pairing craft with AI velocity—and we need a Creative Director to lead it.

We're launching an embedded, ai-native creative studio for one of the world's most influential B2B tech brands—a global platform company serving 85% of the Fortune 500. This isn't a traditional agency setup.

You'll be leading a high-output creative studio that operates as a seamless extension of the client's internal global brand team. Your mission: to scale their vision with relentless craft and speed. That means taking hero campaigns, brand R systems, and creative playbooks—and turning them into flawless assets across regions, channels, and formats.

You'll direct a multi-disciplinary team, set the bar for quality, and ensure that every piece of work—whether it's a flagship moment or a localized event—feels unmistakably on-brand. If you're energized by the idea of combining creative excellence with operational rigor, and you thrive when empowering teams to do their best work at scale, we'd love to talk.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and elevate the creative team—while rolling up your sleeves
You'll direct a multi-level team of creatives—developing their skills, sharpening their output, and fostering a culture of craft and excellence. You'll also be hands-on: contributing to concepting, building on ideas, and executing work alongside the team. You'll be coach, conductor, and contributor—a strategic thinker who can elevate the work and deliver it, ensuring the team operates at maximum efficiency and creativity from day one, leveraging the latest GenAI tech stack, while building for a future-state of global studio expansion and scale.
  • Own quality from brief to delivery
You'll manage, review, and audit all creative work to ensure it meets the client's exacting standards. That means running internal critiques, tightening executions, and being the final eyes on everything before it goes out the door.
  • Be the brand guardian
Every asset that leaves the studio—whether it's a homepage hero or a regional social post—needs to feel authentically on-brand. You'll ensure that all design collateral is faithful to the client's guidelines, voice, and vision.
  • Partner with leadership to deliver seamless client service
You'll work closely with the OLIVER Business Director to ensure the studio runs smoothly, timelines are respected, and the client always feels supported. You're not just managing creative—you're managing the relationship and the experience.
  • Flex with the pace
This is a high-volume environment. You'll need to organize and prioritize workloads effectively, especially around tight deadlines, and stay nimble when demands shift or urgency increases.

What you need to be great in this role:

Motivator and Standard-Setter

  • Inspire your team to consistently push for excellence
  • Create an environment where people want to do their best work
  • Hold team members accountable to high standards

Proactive Quality Protection

  • Lead internal reviews before problems surface
  • Actively seek feedback from internal and client-side stakeholders
  • Course-correct work before it goes off-brand or off-brief

AI-Native Mindset with a Discerning Eye

  • Believe in better, not just more
  • Demonstrate impeccable taste and creative judgment
  • Stay curious about (or fluent in) how AI can scale excellence without sacrifice
  • Use AI as a tool to elevate craft and accelerate delivery, not as a shortcut
  • Know what's worth making and what isn't

Capability Builder

  • Manage and coordinate knowledge-sharing within the team
  • Facilitate continuous learning opportunities
  • Improve processes and ways of working
  • Level up team skills through smarter processes

Cross-Functional Collaborator

  • Work actively with account leads, client creative directors, producers, and project managers
  • Ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a seamless client experience
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $136,000.00 USD to $152,000.00 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
