Role: Program Director
Location: New York, New York (4x/week in office)
About the role:
This role partners with the Global Program Director and the US Managing Partner to drive revenue, margin, operational performance, and content KPIs, ultimately ensuring high client satisfaction.
The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting operational improvements to enable efficient delivery and account operations, while identifying operational gaps, risks, and opportunities to enhance overall studio performance. It has a specific focus on ensuring operational and delivery excellence for the US studio.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with the Global Program Director to achieve revenue, margin, and content KPIs, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Co-design and implement operational improvements to existing operating models, tools, processes, and workflows to optimize delivery and studio operations.
- Proactively identify and address operational gaps, risks, and opportunities to enhance studio operations, efficiency and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to best operational practices across all programs.
- Partner with the US Managing Partner to own accurate and informed Finance Forecasting and reporting function with studios.
- Provide holistic US and market-level solution design for future account structure and talent mapping solutions.
- Formulating and implementing operational strategies to drive continuous improvement year on year.
- Design, implement, and monitor delivery solutions to improve performance on KPIs, including driving Pencil adoption, innovative use of Pencil, cross-market synergies, content quality, review frequency, team productivity, and asset reuse.
- Work with the Global Operations Team to ensure all studio teams are trained and engaged with the programs, applying the correct ways of working.
- Ensure comprehensive data collection from all relevant platforms; including OMG, Pencil and various tools.
- Collaborate with the Global Operations Team to monitor team compliance with platform usage to ensure accurate data collection.
- Manage and enhance dashboards to monitor studio performance through KPIs, supporting improvement plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Global Program Director and Data Analyst to produce and refine required dashboards.

Devise and deliver bespoke reporting frameworks within Oliver, aligned with business and operational needs and goals.
- Build strong relationships with the US Leadership Team to deliver on Client goals
- Partner with US Account Management to ensure smooth studio operations.
- Lead Delivery discipline for the US region – ensuring US is best in class
- Lead by example, fostering inclusivity and support within and outside the production unit.

Directly manage the Project Management team. With planned Delivery discipline and structural changes within the account, line management responsibilities are likely to evolve.
- Provide leadership, guidance and set SMART objectives for your team, supporting them in their work.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in an advertising agency or production environment.
- Strong understanding of operational and delivery setups with a proven ability to improve processes.
- Self-starter with the ability to implement plans and ideas efficiently.
- Experienced leader and manager with a firm but fair approach.
- Strong commercial acumen and production knowledge across digital platforms.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient with online tools and systems, possessing a strong operational mindset.
- Confident in presenting to clients and agency staff, with the gravitas to engage in senior-level debates.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $157,250.00 to $175,750.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
