About the role:
Inside Ideas Group has an opening for an Executive Producer to join our team. This is a pivotal role within our agency, and will ensure the smooth creation of great work.
The Executive Producer is responsible for leading our production pipeline from concept to delivery. You’ll oversee teams, budgets, and timelines across video, content, or digital productions. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in creative environments and knows how to get things done at scale—without compromising on quality.

They enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and have a proven track record of producing multiple, complex projects. They have meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, understand the importance of maintaining a courteous and positive attitude along the way.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage the production team and its operations
- Own and oversee the end-to-end production process across multiple projects
- Collaborate with internal teams, directors, and clients to bring ideas to life
- Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors
- Produce and manage a variety of photography and video shoots
- Manage and optimize post-production processes for motion and stills
- Work with brand partners to discuss project briefs and advise on best production approach to reach their goals
- Create and manage all production budgets and timelines
- Have an understanding of union (SAG) and non-union talent best practices
- Ability to direct business affairs during talent negotiations and contract execution
- Manage relationships with external production vendors and internal resources (editors, motion graphics team, re-touchers)
- Oversee the production bidding process including requesting/negotiating bids from vendors and presenting that information to brand for approval
- Maintain department’s documentation as up to date as possible
- Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget
- Manage production finances including project budget reconciliation, vendor invoicing, and reporting
What you need to be great in this role:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an Executive Producer or Senior Producer in an agency
- Strong background in video, film, or digital content production
- Exceptional project management and leadership skills
- Creative vision paired with financial and logistical oversight
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Portfolio of previous work including video and stills
- Knowledge of all the logistics involved in photo and digital/social video production
- Ability to find cost efficient production solutions
- Have a network of production resources locally and beyond
- Ability to liaise with clients to determine campaign scope, estimates and schedules
- Ability to think and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A fast learner, go-getter and problem solver who offers help whenever possible
- Ability to travel for shoots
- Familiarity with various social & digital photo & video formats and best in class practices for digital/social
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $127,500.00 USD to $142,500.00 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
