THE ROLE: Associate Customer Business Manager - WALMART 

Reporting to our Sr Sales Manager and Sales Manager on our Walmart team, our 2 ACBMs – Walmart will serve as key contributors within our H&WC team and will be important analytical and executional support to our Sales Leads. Executional excellence, analytics, and attention to detail will play a key part in this role. We need someone that is committed to being a positive culture impact and a strong contributor. This role has the ability to play a support role while gaining valuable customer-facing experience.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Function as the support arm to our sales lead for selected brands 
  • Regular interaction owning a relationship directly with Walmart staff 
  • Mines all data sources including customers/shopper insights and syndicated data to provide actionable insights that help in the development of the 4Ps (Promotion, Pricing, Placement and Product) to grow H+WC business and share​ 
  • Assist in pulling, interpreting and providing insights around key sales data​ to inform accurate item level forecasts 
  • Prepare clear, concise, storytelling presentations based on analytics​ in partnership with our analytics team 
  • Monitor competitive brands and products, as well as market share, to understand shopper trends. Fully understand the categories we compete in 
  • Build strong feature and display plans that drive growth for Walmart and our business 
  • Manage tracking of new item launches at retail to ensure speed to shelf and item success in the market​ 
  • Build selling deck and all necessary materials for customer meetings, including but not limited to sell-in stories, monthly meetings and line reviews using customer specific and syndicated data​ 
  • Maintain and manage weekly reporting tools and dashboards for key customers​ 
  • Evaluate current sales, share goals, and competitive performance​ 
  • Support ad hoc requests in support of the Walmart business​ 
  • Deduction management in partnership with our internal team 
  • Full item management responsibility for Walmart

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • 2-5 years experience working in Sales Analytics, Account Management, or Retail buying within CPG 
  • Strong understanding of Walmart’s Go to Market strategy 
  • Ability to convert information, numbers and data into insight for actionable growth​ 
  • Proven ability to identify, articulate and propose solutions that solve problems and drive results​ 
  • Results-oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively​ 
  • Adaptable with the ability to work both cross-functionally and independently with the potential for more responsibility as more platforms are launched​ 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give and receive effective feedback​ 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability and motivated by a deadline driven environment​ 
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and syndicated database skills (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, etc.)
  • Experience working with IRI data reporting, Luminate, Nielsen 
  • Energized and passionate about building a transformational brand in today's marketplace​ 
  • A true “Team Player” who can work cross-functionally to achieve results​ 

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS 

  • Initial video screen with a member of our Talent team 
  • Round 1: Conversation with the Hiring Manager + 1-2 conversations with other team members
  • Round 2: 2-3 conversations with team or cross-functional partners
  • Final Round: Homework*

HOURS: Full time, exempt (salaried)

The pay range for this position is $85,000- 105,000 dependent on experience.
