IT Asset Manager with TS/SCI
Job Opportunity: Our team is seeking a talented TS/SCI cleared IT Asset Manager to work in our NW Washington DC location.
This role supports DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). I&A is responsible for developing DHS-wide intelligence through managing the collection, analysis and fusion of intelligence throughout the entire Department. I&A disseminates intelligence throughout DHS, to the other members of the United States Intelligence Community, and to first responders at the state, local, and tribal level.
We are seeking an IT Asset Management professional to join our team and help accelerate a federal mission client’s discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence insights to counter national security threats and malicious actors. Our IT Asset Management role requires understanding of how to manage software and technology-related hardware within the organization to include asset identification and tracking and monitoring of IT assets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets
- Has the knowledge of entering information into a database and has skills of data entry analyst
- Serve as IT hardware asset management point of contact
- Some moderately heavy lifting (of computer monitors, printers, etc.) may be required. (Should be Is comfortable moving assets from one location to another client location)
- Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, calculators, copiers, scanners).
- Must possess strong computer skills – expert in Excel to analyze large volumes of data
- Ensure request, incident, problem, and change records are accurate and complete, from creation to closure
- Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial. Regular use of phone and email for communication is essential
Requirements:
- Must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
