Internal systems play a key role in OpenTable’s success and our ability to provide excellent support for our restaurants and diners. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Business Optimization, this role is responsible for enhancing Salesforce architecture and supporting the Global Sales & Services organization in its usage of SFDC. You will work across multiple Clouds/platforms and collaborate with stakeholders on the Revenue Operations, Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Marketing, Support, Finance, and Product teams to optimize a complex Salesforce instance. You’ll consult around ideal strategies to evolve OpenTable’s Salesforce setup in order to achieve peak efficiency, data cleanliness, and user experience.

This position will make strategic recommendations around technical solutions, based on a thorough understanding of business needs, in alignment with standard processes and cutting edge features available in the Salesforce ecosystem. The Solution Architect will analyze, design, and implement processes and workflows in order to increase adoption and ultimately grow revenue; they’ll create documentation and materials for various user types/groups, and will be instrumental in shaping the Business Optimization team’s roadmap for the implementation of internal Sales & Services tools.

In this role, you will:

  • Work alongside the Revenue Operations team to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives into sprints, and communicate with stakeholders about new enhancements
  • Build strong working relationships and in-depth knowledge of internal departments and their processes in order to identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions
  • Overhaul business processes and design new automations to improve operational efficiency
  • Partner with Salesforce Admins and Engineers to implement multi-component solutions across Sales & Support Clouds
  • Operate as a liaison between the Global Sales & Services team and Product/Engineering org
  • Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert and driver of technical transformation
  • Support a team of remote Sales and Services team members who rely on SFDC daily to manage their customer interactions, territories, and pipeline

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Lightning experience, with a focus on internal systems/business applications (Business and/or Technical Architect Certification preferred)
  • Experience managing Salesforce feature requests
  • Advanced skills building Salesforce reports/dashboards
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, complex data storage models, and their implications
  • The capacity to grasp and learn new technical concepts quickly and independently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail and while consistently meeting aggressive deadlines

Required and preferred skills:

  • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience required
  • Native Salesforce AI solutioning experience (Einstein Bots/Copilot/Service Agent) preferred
  • Telephony solutioning experience (Service Cloud Voice) preferred
  • Experience with Groove, Geopointe, Calendly, Marketo, and DocuSign is a plus
  • Advanced skills in creating complex reports and dashboards in Salesforce Lightning
  • Proficient in Excel, and with managing large data sets (Data Loader preferred)
  • Ability to write clear, concise users stories and process changes/instructions
  • Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Experience with Lucidchart or other design applications
  • Preferred Credentials: AI Specialist, Application Architect, B2C Commerce Architect, B2C Solution Architect, Data Architect, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Integration Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect
  • Preferred Superbadges: User Experience, Lightning Web Components, Object Relationships, Flow Interactions, Process Automation Specialist, Duplicate Management, Data Validation, Admin Super Set, Service Cloud Specialist, Lightning Implementation Specialist, and/or Business Administration Specialist

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $95,000-$109,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
