About the role:
We are seeking a strategic & collaborative Director of Product Marketing to scale our Product Marketing organization and drive demand & adoption of our product suite within our target market. This role is primarily responsible for driving and executing go-to-market strategies for product launches & releases and defining product messaging, positioning and differentiation. This is an important role to accommodate our growing organization with the increasing demand for our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own & drive go-to-market strategies and plans for a diverse portfolio of products, developing target customer segments, ICPs, personas and points of competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to refine product positioning and product-market fit through in-depth market research on trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.
- Manage end-to-end product launches & releases, serving as the primary liaison between the product marketing team and internal departments and provide regular updates on the status of product launches and distribution, ensuring effective communication within the organization.
- Conduct customer & user interviews to gain insights into customer business needs and pain points to inform both internal education & external content creation.
- Conduct regular win/loss analyses to identify key insights and actionable recommendations for product improvements as well as messaging optimization.
- Translate complex technical features and capabilities into compelling and effective content, including white papers, case studies, sales collateral and more.
- Serve as the connective tissue between the product organization and our GTM team, including process optimization and ongoing support.
- Define and measure impact of Product Marketing strategy.
- Mentor and coach the product marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve goals and deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of a proven track record of success in product marketing at a B2B SaaS organization, demonstrating expertise in driving successful product strategies leading to business impact
- Retail Media or Commerce experience a plus
- Demonstrated experience in successfully rolling out product go-to-market strategies.
- Deep understanding of market trends, product life cycles and customer behavior
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities to navigate complex market dynamic and measure impact
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
