If you are interested in becoming a valuable member of a high-growth technology company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Tax Manager to help manage all aspects of indirect tax compliance, planning, and controversy globally. You will work closely with other members of the department to ensure accuracy and completeness of complex, global tax reporting and activity.

How You Impact Our Vision
- Monitor global tax law changes and address their financial and operational impact on the organization
- Support international expansion by advising on VAT/GST planning and compliance requirements across new jurisdictions
- Drive tax technology initiatives, including implementation and maintenance of tax engine systems to ensure accurate calculations and reporting across finance platforms
- Lead the timely and accurate filing of global indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and other applicable indirect taxes.
- Prepare, review, and manage indirect tax accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries as part of the monthly close process
- Manage indirect tax audits and voluntary disclosure agreements, developing defense strategies and supporting documentation
- Drive continuous improvement in indirect tax accounting practices and controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
- Champion and drive implementation of tax automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency with industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of a multinational company, with progressive complexity in scope and responsibility
- Proficient Excel Skills (Vlookup/ Formulas)
- Demonstrated experience successfully working across time zones and with team members residing in various geographic locations
- Self-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Strong drive and great work ethic. Get it done attitude.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative communication style, and ability to work cross-functionally with people at different organizational levels with a wide variety of backgrounds
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience managing sales tax engine systems (e.g., Avalara, Vertex)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification
- Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
- Hands-on experience with finance and ERP systems (Netsuite is a plus)
