Your Role

As a Mid-Level API Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in developing robust and scalable APIs using Python FastAPI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our clients.

• Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs using Python FastAPI.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining security and data protection.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify system bottlenecks and recommend solutions for performance improvements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure best practices are being implemented.

Who You Are

• Minimum of 3 years experience in backend development with a focus on Python, particularly using FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL database management and design.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Conversational English skills required for internal communication and documentation.
