About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and support proposal and marketing efforts across our Community Building, Environmental, Transportation, and Water practices. This role will collaborate with technical professionals, project managers, and marketing team members to develop thoughtful, responsive materials for municipal, agency, and private-sector clients.
The position will be based in our Portland, Oregon office, with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule based on team integration, project needs, and experience level.
Your Role on the Team:
- Coordinate and support the development of proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, and other pursuit materials in response to requests for proposals and qualifications.
- Work with technical and marketing team members to gather, organize, write, edit, and format proposal content.
- Review solicitation requirements and help maintain proposal schedules, calendars, assignments, and deadlines.
- Research clients, projects, markets, and competitors to support pursuit planning and proposal development.
- Update and maintain resumes, project profiles, team qualifications, and other marketing information in Unanet.
- Develop and format documents using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and related software.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Three or more years of marketing, proposal, or related experience within the architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services industry.
- Experience supporting proposals, statements of qualifications, and other competitive pursuits.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Experience developing social media strategies and the development of content.
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools with the judgment to review, validate, and refine AI-assisted content.
- Experience with Unanet, Deltek, or a similar CRM or marketing information system is preferred.

Hourly Range
$70,000 - $85,000 USD
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
