Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Demand Planner executes and develops sales and inventory plans on assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in retail/wholesale buying/planning or replenishment management. Applicants must be well organized, a self starter, detail oriented, and highly motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine style demand and inventory plans based on statistical forecasting inputs and historical trends
Work with account teams to ensure proper forecasts and parameters are set in the retailer’s replenishment systems.
Partner with Sales on pre-season planning for Replenishment, Key Items and Assortment building at account level
Provide Account Exec and Business Planning with monthly replenishment financial projections
Pull in-stock and WOS data at style/color level and report business trends to monitor in-season trends and adjust plans as needed. Meet with Account Executive to discuss in season issues and opportunities.
Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed and fulfill other tasks as directed by management
COLLABORATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate on pre-season planning for Key Items and Assortment building at brand level with Merchandising and Sales
Work with Supply Chain planning to ensure optimal stock levels and stock goals
Partner with Sourcing and Supply Chain planning to review WIP for potential challenges

SKILLS

Retail Math, Microsoft Excel

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalency in a related field
Minimum of 3 years retail/wholesale planning/buying experience
Ability to analyze results and identify financial and merchandise solutions to improve performance
Retail math knowledge and understanding
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player and self starter
Ability to set priorities to accomplish task at hand
Ability to travel to other company facilities and accounts as needed
