SUMMARY
Perry Ellis International is hiring an E-commerce Site Manager for our Direct-to-Consumer division. This position will be responsible for delivering financial results and for managing the overall business of a given website (s) across business strategy, site merchandising, site functionality, and marketing. It will require cross functional partnership with buyers, planners, brand marketing, and web design.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
BUSINESS STRATEGY
- Deliver financial results (sales, gross margin $, gross margin %) for assigned ecommerce site.
- Lead weekly business review meetings with Direct-to-Consumer team.
- Maximize sales and profitability of the site through seasonal strategies, business analysis and reaction to sales trends.
- Continuously track and recap performance of items, categories, events and ecommerce using a breadth of sales and marketing reporting tools.
MERCHANDISING
- Responsible for customer’s journey and experience on site and post purchase, for all devices but with a mobile first mentality.
- Ensure categories are merchandised to optimize for revenue and conversion.
- Understand market best practices for site merchandising and build plans to reflect first class presentation of products within categories.
- Develop feature shops and seasonal storytelling.
- Align with omni-channel buyer and brand marketing on product launches and messaging.
- Partner with Web Design team to build and enhance site features across categories.
- Improve site performance through competitive analysis and introduction of new business opportunities while mitigating identified risk.
SITE FUNCTIONALITY
- Oversee site audits to ensure correct presentation and optimal customer experience.
- Generate resourceful, creative ideas to maximize technology and increase sales.
- Monitor site traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, site speed through Google Analytics; analyze site metrics to connect web behavioral profiles to customer, sales, merchandising data.
- Oversee conversion improvement strategies including A/B testing initiatives, product recommendations, complete the look, and on-site search rules, improved PDP and product messaging.
MARKETING
- Lead marketing and content planning across all digital channels (ie email, affiliates, sms).
- Lead execution of marketing and promotional calendar with a focus on email marketing.
- Align with brand marketing on all initiatives pertinent to the brand.
- Partner with brand marketing and photo studio on shoots and asset requests.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Proven performance of using business analytics to drive sales and profitability
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google documents
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and Google Analytics

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)
- 5+ website merchandising experience
- Buying and/or planning experience.
- eCommerce experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related business field.
