Packaging Sourcing Associate

- Follow up with designers/merchandisers on developments of packaging design/structure.
- Communicate information on materials and packaging design with suppliers to get proto samples and negotiate prices.
- Review and give comments / approval for the packaging samples.
- Follow workflow and sign-off protocols.
- Work with Quality Control and legal to understand warning labels and other legal packaging requirements.
- Organize packaging details with prices information by customers, enter data in PLM, and communicate the information to cross-functional teams and overseas offices/factories.
- Provide updates on all projects to the Manager.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years in packaging sourcing/development experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- expert skills in microsoft word / excel and adobe CC.
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Detail orientated and strong organizational skills.
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $30.00 - $34.00/hour.
