About the Role

In this role you are responsible for the coordination of feature releases across multiple teams:

• Making sure features are released on time by Identifying, escalating, resolving impediments resulting from cross team dependencies, both in the software development part as in the launch and migration phases.
• Progress reporting to senior management
• Scope control and governance

This is a full-time role, based in our Leuven office.

Day to day activities

You coordinate with product management to identify the product priorities and key features that need to be released each quarter.   You make sure that the complete end to end  scope of the features and key projects is identified and split into components that are assigned to the right scrum teams (and any other teams, departments or external suppliers) and prioritized accordingly, including definition, architecture, development, beta testing, go live and final migration activities.

You are responsible for the regular follow up of the progress on these key deliverables, and report status on a regular basis to management. You proactively chase execution of the tasks across all departments, flag any risks, delays and unexpected issues, promptly intervening with corrective actions to ensure timely delivery

For big customer-project specific deliveries, you control scope, report progress, and coordinate with the customer, account managers, and internal teams

Experience

• 5 - 10 years of total experience
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience in working with Agile and Devops software development teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong Communication and clear reporting skills
• Result and deadline focus
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• English speaking, additional languages are a plus
• Agile certification (SAFe Release Train Engineer) and/or PMI/PMBok certified. Prince II/ PPM recommended
• Working location: Leuven- Belgium (Belgian work permit, residency and driver license required)

Over de functie

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie van feature releases over meerdere teams: 

• Ervoor zorgen dat features op tijd worden uitgebracht door het identificeren, escaleren en oplossen van belemmeringen die voortkomen uit afhankelijkheden tussen teams, zowel in het softwareontwikkeling gedeelte als in de lanceer- en migratiefases. 
•  Voortgangsrapportage aan het senior management
•  Scope Beheersing en governance

Dit is een fulltime functie, gevestigd in ons kantoor in Leuven.

Essentiële verantwoordelijkheden

Je coördineert met productmanagement om de productprioriteiten en belangrijkste features te identificeren die elk kwartaal moeten worden uitgebracht. Je zorgt ervoor dat de complete end-to-end scope van de features en belangrijke projecten wordt geïdentificeerd en opgesplitst in componenten die worden toegewezen aan de juiste scrumteams (en eventuele andere teams, afdelingen of externe leveranciers) en dienovereenkomstig worden geprioriteerd, inclusief definitie, architectuur, ontwikkeling, bètatesten, go live en uiteindelijke migratieactiviteiten.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de regelmatige opvolging van de voortgang van deze belangrijke deliverables en rapporteert de status op regelmatige basis aan het management. Je jaagt proactief de uitvoering van de taken binnen alle afdelingen na, signaleert eventuele risico's, vertragingen en onverwachte problemen en grijpt onmiddellijk in met corrigerende maatregelen om een tijdige levering te garanderen.

Voor grote, klantspecifieke projectleveringen bewaak je de scope, rapporteer je de voortgang en coördineer je met de klant, accountmanagers en interne teams.

Ervaring

• 5 - 10 jaar totale werkervaring 
• Ervaring met Agile software ontwikkelmethodologieën 
• Ervaring met het werken met Agile en DevOps software ontwikkelingsteams 
• Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden 
• Sterke communicatie- en duidelijke rapportagevaardigheden 
• Resultaat- en deadlinegericht 
• Sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en eigenaarschap 
• Engelstalig, additionele talen zijn een pluspunt 
• Agile certificering (SAFe Release Train Engineer) en/of PMI/PMBok gecertificeerd. Prince II/ PPM aanbevolen 
• Werklocatie: Leuven - België (Belgische werkvergunning, verblijfsvergunning en rijbewijs vereist)
