Overview:
As a pivotal strategic leader, the Chief Sales Officer will drive the success of Plexus' global sales operations. This role requires an innovative and performance-driven approach to create and execute a global sales strategy, elevate team performance, foster distributor relations, and maximize revenue. The Chief Sales Officer will work directly with the executive team to meet and exceed the company’s growth objectives.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs):

Essential Functions & Key Deliverables:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Create and execute sales strategies that align with global objectives and expansion goals.
    • Set and meet ambitious sales targets, ensuring sustained growth and profitability.
    • Anticipate market trends, conducting detailed research to uncover opportunities and risks.
    • Lead initiatives that expand revenue streams and increase market presence, ensuring alignment with executive leadership.
  2. Sales Team Leadership & Development
    • Define clear performance metrics, provide actionable feedback, and consistently enhance team capabilities.
    • Foster a collaborative and motivated sales culture that champions achievement and innovation.
    • Partner with Ambassador Training to implement programs that improve sales effectiveness.
    • Oversee compensation and incentive programs that align performance with organizational objectives.
  3. Sales Operations Management
    • Optimize sales processes, leveraging CRM and sales enablement tools for superior results.
    • Use analytics to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborate globally to recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent.
    • Innovate sales tools and programs based on real-time feedback, enhancing Ambassador effectiveness.
    • Align sales strategies with company-wide events and Ambassador engagement initiatives.

What you have achieved

Educational Background

  • Proven ability to translate academic knowledge from a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field into real-world sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred, with demonstrated application of advanced business and sales principles to expand market share and achieve organizational objectives.

Leadership Experience

  • Successfully led large-scale Direct Sales organizations for over 10 years in senior roles (VP or above), consistently exceeding annual targets and delivering sustained business growth.
  • Managed and developed high-performing teams across 15+ years, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and success in direct selling environments.

Pipeline and Sales Process Management

  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, effectively managing multiple complex sales processes simultaneously to achieve strategic business objectives.

Revenue Growth and Account Management

  • Track record of achieving double-digit sales growth annually, while nurturing long-term relationships with the field to enhance retention and increase profitability.

Problem Solving and Results Orientation

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges, identify solutions, and implement strategies that deliver measurable outcomes, reflecting a results-driven mindset.

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Successfully developed and executed value-based sales approaches, expanding field sales processes into new markets and driving revenue.
  • Implemented innovative programs that secured market penetration and positioned the organization as an industry leader.
