Summer Intern - Corporate + Brand

This is an opportunity for students who are looking to gain experience in integrated communications working alongside our world class communications professionals. During this ten-week paid internship experience you will be working in the Corporate and Brand practice.
You will be challenged to think differently, to bring diversity of thinking and experience and contribute to purposefully driven strategic communications and media relations activities for our clients.
The internship program will run from June 2nd – August 8th. This is a full-time position, and you will work three days a week from our Boston office.
What you will do:
- Analyze industry and marketplace trends and summarize for teams
- Research and vet members of the media and publications; provide recommendations for new targets
- Create and maintain coverage reports and monthly dashboards and trackers
- Media monitoring for relevant trends, brand, and competitor coverage
- Draft press releases and media alerts for various announcements
- Create media lists and conduct media outreach
- Staff client events in the Boston area as needed during your internship time
- Support multiple account teams with various projects
- Coordinate team meetings, call agendas, team notes, and administrative support for special events and/or conferences
- Participate in office wide initiatives, including professional development and brainstorm sessions
The experience that will contribute to your success:
- You are currently enrolled as a junior at an accredited college or university
- You can efficiently organize and manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for details
- You are comfortable using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work full-time (M-F) for the duration of the internship, reporting to our office 3 days each week
- You are driven, energetic and understand that bringing a great attitude to work is the key ingredient for success
