About The Team
We’re making it easy for all of the developers on Earth to get started with public APIs from more than 18,000 companies in seconds.
The Postman API Network is the world’s largest repository of APIs, with tens of thousands of APIs for checking the weather, looking up sports scores, booking events, planning travel, sending payments, and more. As developers, we know there’s no better feeling than seeing your code work, especially when you’re integrating with someone else’s API.
As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll lead the execution of the most strategic launches for the Postman API Network, connecting millions of developers to tens of thousands of companies distributing public APIs. You’ll embed with product teams, stay close to the details, and keep the organization running smoothly. You’ll be part of the leadership team changing how public APIs are distributed globally.
This is a hybrid position based in NYC. As a standalone business with Postman, we build fast, learn while doing it, and most importantly, have fun!
What You'll Do
- Lead execution of the network’s most strategic and complex launches.
- Keep the organization running as efficiently as possible, including how we organize, distribute information, and ship software.
- Own operationalizing business roadmaps and goals.
- Set the execution bar for the organization.
- Be a trusted thought partner, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for key decisions.
About You
- 10+ years of technical program manager or SDE experience, ideally at both high-growth and enterprise companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
- Proven track record delivering products used by developers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects.
- Passionate about a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You’re mission-oriented, care about the details, and like to move fast.
- Experience building and managing API products.
- Experience working in a two-sided network.
This role is based in the greater New York City area, and the reasonably estimated salary can be requested anytime. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Noida, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
