The Opportunity
As a member of Postman’s Talent Research and Market Development team, you will play a crucial role in building out go-to-market business units and teams in alignment with our hub-based talent acquisition strategy. This is more than just filling positions; it’s about collaborating with hiring leaders and stakeholders and enabling them to execute upon their near-to-long-term hiring goals with data-driven market insights.
Your role will be pivotal in creating cross-functional processes to define the talent landscape, provide market insights and trends, as well as networking with and developing a robust pipeline of top candidates around new and existing hubs.
This is a hybrid position based in New York City, Boston, or one of our 3 offices in the San Francisco Bay area offering the unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-growth, API-focused tech environment.
What you’ll do
- Work with Talent Research, Talent Acquisition, & hiring stakeholders to enable a more strategic hub-based approach to hiring by generating data driven insights
- Collaborate closely with hiring leaders & stakeholders to develop ideal candidate personas and relevant target companies around new & existing hubs
- Strategically plan and execute innovative sourcing and engagement strategies to find and connect with talent from non-traditional and diverse sources
- Act as a consultant to hiring managers and recruiting stakeholders, mapping markets to provide insights and recommendations on top talent pools, trends, and networking events
- Develop and foster relationships with targeted hub-based candidates to build networks and create a rich talent pool for future needs
About You
- Possess 5-7+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 2+ years of stakeholder management throughout the hiring process
- Demonstrated success in using innovative market mapping & sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates
- Proven track record in collaborating with senior stakeholders and acting as a talent advisor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing candidates and hiring teams alike.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Passion for creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, with a commitment to driving team collaboration and professional growth.
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Noida, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
